![]() No wheels are allowed for safety pads- they must be pads.All tractors must be equipped with safety bars strong enough to support the weight of the tractor when tested by the judge.The safety pads must be stationary and must not be less than 25 square inches per pad.All safety bars must be equipped with safety pads on the ends of the bars.Must accept 6" hook at a maximum hitch height of 20".The safety bars must be rigid and stationary, and shall extend from the middle of the rear axle and past the rear tires, and not more than ten inches from the ground.The safety bar must be made of three-inch channel-iron or equivalent.Safety Bar Specifications are as follows: All tractors must be equipped with safety bars. ![]() All tractors must be equipped with workable rear brakes.Pulls will use a chain 48 inches in length.No portion of the tractor may interfere with the sled or sled hitch during a pull.Any weight falling from tractor will give cause to disqualify tractor. In securable weights will be grounds for disqualification. Weights must be solid and safely secured.Tractors must have rubber tires, no four-wheel drives, no tire studs, and no chains permitted.If a driver is found under the influence, they will automatically be disqualified.All driver’s must operate their tractor safely.Any driver or designated pit person under the age of 18 must have legal permission from their legal guardian.All driver’s must present a valid government issued driver’s license at time of entry.Tractor and equipment must be deemed safe.Each tractor can only be entered once in an individual class.When entering a class all contestants will draw for first 10 positions upon signing into class, after first 10 spots are filled order will be determined by next available position.All driver’s are entitled to 1 “pit person”, Said pit person must also sign the Westport Fair waiver form.When pull starts, last driver in the first round completes his pull closes the class.All driver’s must sign a waiver form at time of entry.Winnings will be mailed directly to the winner after the completion of all pulls.
